About Me
Summer 2009, before I shaved
My name is Todd, and I am a mathematician.
I’m also a cyclist, and I love to ride my bike.
I’m a husband, photographer, a guitarist, a software engineer, a web designer, and a gamer.
I recently graduated from the M.S. program in Mathematics at UC Irvine, and I now work writing software for a computer peripherals company in Southern California. I grew up in San Diego, and hope to move back someday, but for now, Orange County is where I call home.
There are some great (paved) bike paths around here, and Irvine has over 72 miles of on-road bike lanes. I’ve found that Orange County is pretty cyclist-friendly in general (there is always the occasional angry driver), and every time I go out my ride is a unique experience.
It is interesting to note that some of the world’s most well-known philosophers (Aristotle, Descartes, Pascal) were also famous mathematicians.
